Animals we've helped

This is a cat named Lucky, who was saved thanks to financial help from the Coalition

This is a cat named Dorian Grey, rescued as a feral by Habitat for Cats

The coalition paid for these bunnies to be fixed so that they would be eligble for adoption

This is a cat which the coalition paid to have spayed, now living as a "Shop Cat" for a local business

This stray cat, found in somerset, had a necessary amputation performed by Mt. Hope with finacial support from the coalition.

These kittens were taken in and hand raised with support from the coalition.

The coalition helped treat and support 5 kittens that initially tested FIV positive and are now being cared for in their adoptive home.
Maya is a 2 year old pug/bulldog whose family was relocated due to deployment. With the help of the Coalition Maya has a second chance at life and has found her forever home. Maya now lives with her mom, human brother and a Italian greyhound!

Oh Benny my boy.....Benny was a foster dog of mine. I went to help a lady and was just going to take pictures and look for a home but when I got there....he had to come home with me. He was matted to the skin and snapped when you came near him. Our first stop was the groomer! After his matt's were gone we worked on social skills - he came to work with me everyday loved Dunkin Donuts in the morning. Finally it was Benny's turn to find his own home he now lives with his older sister Rosie and has a wonderful human family. See the before and after shots of my Benny boy.
Archie is a St. Bernard Mix that was tied up in a gravel yard behind my job. We had 10" - 12" of snow coming that weekend so we packed him up and brought him home. Archie had no house manners found him many times in my sink, kitchen table EVERYWHERE! He needed special attention - I fostered him for a few weeks then a friend feel in love with him and it has been love ever since. Archie is still learning his manners and goes to Papa Bowwow's Training to keep him on track and has come along way. We love you Archie!

Zelda she is a 1 year old pix/boxer mix who came in with Oscar and Maya whose family was being relocated due to being deployed. Zelda has found her forever home BUT we are not telling the cats she is staying yet! Zelda's mom Mary has opened her home and heart to this little girl. Here is Zelda in her new home!
Oscar is a 9 year old Pug who also came along with Maya whose family was relocated due to being deployed. One of our Coalition members took him into her house and he never left. He fit in like he has been there all along this photo is taken in his new home I see him saying "me the new guy? NOO" Oscar has been welcomed with open paws!

In March we recieved a phone call from the ER in Swansea a mama cat in distress and owners had no money for the delivery. The Coalition stepped in and paid for the procedure and fostered the mama and kittens for 8 weeks. All the kittens were healthy and have found homes....mama was spayed and returned to the owner.

Bozak is an amazing one year old Shepard we took in to re-home. After meeting Bozak we knew he had potential and was over trained to be a family pet. With the help of a friend Bozak was transferred to get this....the FBI! Unfortunataly Bozak was hurt in the line of duty and now lives back in Rhode Island as a family pet under a retired U.S. Army Veteran dog trainer.

Charlie was just another dog who lost his home due to his family moving this dog knew nothing more than the sit command. Again, with the help of a friend who is a U.S. Army Veteran dog trainer Charlie has become more than a family member! CHARLIE is graduated on June 28th and will be serving Steven R. Frye, US Army Combat Wounded Iraq War Veteran as his Service Assistance Dog in Balance Walker/PTSD capacity, in memory of SGT Michael Paranzino, US Army KIA 5 Nov 2010. Steve is from Newport, RI and Michael was from Middletown, RI he died in Kandahar, Afghanistan at 22 years old.
