Meeting Minutes Update

Present: Leigh, Jenn, Adam, Tammy, Katie, Lucy, Delia, Ana, and Stephanie

Treasure’s Report: Leigh has reported that we have $3,805.29 in the account – (Nylah) $1,000.00, (Food Bank) $842.33, leaving $1,962.96 in the general funds.

Agenda

First agenda item
Spaghetti Dinner – March 21st donations so far include 60lbs spaghetti, 12 cases of Wasa bread, $50.00 gift card from Shaw’s. The dinner will be held in Somerset at the American Legion set up time 3:00 – dinner will be served from 4:00 – 7:00 as always volunteers needed!

Second agenda item
Nylah’s Pasta Dinner – April 11th VFW in Dartmouth hall rented from 3-8; dinner served from 4-7. Volunteers needed!!

Third agenda item
April 18th – Bus Trip leaving BOA parking lot 8:00 am – more info to follow.

Fourth agenda item
Petco Grant – Goodie Bags approved for Bark in the Park. Submitted spay/neuter grant on 3/1/10 requesting $5,000.00

Fifth agenda item
A Bark in the Park – Waiting to hear from the parks department tentative date of August 7th – looking for event ideas, vendors, etc.

REMINDER:
March 31st at the Government Center Julianne Kelly will be speaking on behalf of the Fall River Parks Advocates. Although the dog park is not on the table for this meeting the Coalition showing its support could help our cause. Any one able to attend this meeting would be great!!

Tentative agenda for the next meeting:
Bingo night with Townhouse tentative for April/May.
Mac Grant status.
