Meeting Minutes Update

Treasure’s Report: Leigh has reported that we have $2,145.88 in General Funds – and $233.44 in the food bank.

A Bark in the Park – August 7th

First agenda item
July 25th Old Colony Train (Jay & Nancy) are holding their 1st annual car show $25.00 per booth. Katie and Lucy will pass out flyers at the event and sell t-shirts. Looking into ordering (15) medium and (15) 2-Xlarge Coalition Shirts for the event to fill holes. Time is from 9:00 to 4:00 Leigh will provide table, tent and Coalition supplies.

Second agenda item
Still looking to put together a fundraiser breakfast from 8:00 – 12:00 Katie is going to call ahead for some local hall pricing. Looking to have insurance in place for the bark in the park and hold a fundraiser at a later date.

Third agenda item
Absentee board members – all board members must attend one meeting per quarter. After missing 4 meetings we will hold a vote to decide if we remove member from board based on attendance and participation in group.

Fourth agenda item
Bark in the Park – We need HELP!! We need volunteers we need to get the word out!! So far we have 7 Booths tentatively booked. We need the following: pine cones – anyone hiking? 12 hay bales we have a price of $5.50 but we need cheaper! Tammy is looking into a bouncy for the children and a port potty. Games we have planned “bobbing for balls” , Musical paws, Fun run ($1.00) per run. We are looking to set-up that day around 7:00 am if anyone is interested please contact Leigh at the store.

The next meeting will be held on August 3rd at Papa Gino’s at 6:30 p.m.
