February 2nd, 2012 It will be held at Papa Gino's It will be held from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm. In Memory of Sandy When we lose a pet we lose a part of ourselves. We might find a new companion along the way, and they will become just as important to us in time, but the loss of your beloved friend will never fade. There are so many memories and such feelings of emptiness. When we walk into an room, just for a moment we wait for them to greet us. Many people cannot understand how we feel, we try to be brave but the loss just becomes more unbearable. We have to keep remembering our friend will be with me forever and we will meet again. Oscar is a 4 year old Dachshund who was in need of emergency back surgery. With a ruptured disk in the lower back a window is made in the side of the vertebral bone to expose the spinal cord. This window allows removal of disk material and relieves the pressure from the cord. October 10th , 2010 Click here for more information Thank you to all who joined us..... A portosystemic shunt therefore is an abnormal vessel that allows blood to bypass the liver. As a result the blood is not cleansed by one of her bodies filters: the liver. On behalf of the Fall River Animal Coalition we would like to thank the VFW for their generous donation of the hall on August 30th for our fundraiser to benefit Nylah. We have been assisting this New Bedford resident in raising money to help provide her 6 month old puppy the funds to receive a life saving surgery since early May. After this event we can excitedly say we have reached our goal! At the event we raised $1,500.00 which brought our total fundraising efforts to over $2,500.00. Nylah needed $2,000.00 to start the surgery and the balance of $2,500.00 can be paid in monthly payments by the family. Good Luck Nylah!!
